By using Clarity ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. These terms apply to the Clarity web app and the Clarity mobile apps for iOS and Android.
Clarity is a Bible study tool provided by Clarity Faith. You may use it for personal, non-commercial study and learning. You may not use it to harvest data, resell access, train competing models, or violate any law.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → your account → Delete account in the Clarity app, or by emailing support@clarityfaith.com with the subject "Delete my account."
Clarity offers paid subscriptions billed monthly or annually depending on the plan you choose. The exact price, length, and features of each plan are shown on the purchase screen at the time of purchase.
Auto-renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the then-current rate. You can manage subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal in your Apple ID account settings (iOS), your Google Play account (Android), or the in-app subscription management portal (web) after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Refunds. Refund requests for App Store purchases must be submitted to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Refund requests for Google Play purchases must be submitted via the Google Play Store. We can issue refunds directly only for Stripe purchases on the web — email support@clarityfaith.com for those.
Clarity uses third-party large language models (currently Google Gemini and, when configured, OpenAI) to generate responses. These responses are for study aid and reflection — they are not theological authority, pastoral counsel, doctrinal instruction, or medical, legal, or financial advice. They may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. Always verify important questions with your pastor, community, qualified professionals, and Scripture directly.
Notes, highlights, and data you create belong to you. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and sync it solely to provide the service. We don't sell it, share it with advertisers, or use it to train AI models.
We try to keep Clarity reliable, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime. We may update or discontinue features with reasonable notice. We're not liable for data loss, though we take backups seriously.
Clarity is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Clarity Faith is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas.
