Getting started

How do I get started?+
Download Clarity from the App Store or Google Play, or open app.claritybible.ai in your browser. Create an account, choose your Christian tradition (Catholic, Protestant, or Orthodox), and you're ready to open the Bible and ask your first question.
Which devices does Clarity work on?+
Clarity runs on iPhone and iPad (iOS), Android phones and tablets, and any modern web browser. Your account, notes, highlights, bookmarks, and chat history sync across all of them automatically when you're signed in.
Is Clarity free?+
Clarity is free to try. Clarity+ is our subscription that unlocks deeper study, longer conversations, premium voices, and more daily study capacity. See pricing for current plans.

Subscriptions & billing

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?+
Where you manage a subscription depends on where you bought it:
  • iPhone / iPad: open the Settings app → tap your name → Subscriptions → Clarity, then change or cancel.
  • Android: open the Google Play Store → tap your profile → Payments & subscriptionsSubscriptions → Clarity.
  • Web: open Clarity → Settings → Subscription → Manage to reach the billing portal.
Your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period.
How do I restore a purchase on a new device?+
Sign in with the same account you subscribed with. If Clarity+ doesn't appear, go to Settings → Subscription and tap Restore purchases. Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account you used originally.
How do I request a refund?+
Refunds are handled by the store you purchased through:If you bought Clarity+ on the web, email us at support@clarityfaith.comand we'll help.

Account & data

How do I delete my account and data?+
In the app, open Settings → your account → Delete account. This permanently removes your account and study data on confirmation. You can also email support@clarityfaith.com with the subject "Delete my account" and we'll complete it within 30 days.
How do you handle my privacy?+
We don't sell your data, show ads, track you across other apps, or use your chat history to train AI. Read the full privacy policy for details on what we collect and why.
My study data isn't syncing between devices.+
First, confirm you're signed in to the same account on each device. Then check your internet connection and make sure Clarity is updated to the latest version. If notes or highlights still don't appear, contact us and include the email on your account.

Features & troubleshooting

Voice or read-aloud isn't playing.+
Check that your device isn't on silent/mute and that the volume is up. For voice dictation, Clarity needs microphone and speech-recognition permission — grant it in your device's Settings under Clarity. If audio stops when you lock the screen, make sure background audio is allowed for the app.
Which Bible translations are included?+
Clarity includes classic public-domain English translations (KJV, ASV, Young's Literal, the World English Bible, the Catholic Public Domain Version, Brenton's Septuagint) plus the original Hebrew, Greek, and Latin texts, and historic sources like the Church Fathers. See attributions for the full list and licenses.
The app is slow, frozen, or crashing.+
Update to the latest version from the App Store or Google Play, then fully close and reopen the app. If the problem continues, restart your device. Still stuck? Email us with your device model and OS version so we can reproduce it.
